For the benefit of those who have just joined this awesome board and simply don’t know what the Dickens I am on about, for almost six months we have been voting for our all-time favourite City-Feet models, with 22 groups of women contesting week-in week-out with the group winners and the “best” runners up progressing to the playoffs – WHICH HAVE NOW BEGUN! We have finally separated the wheat from the chaff, and now the elite feet finally meet in a series of 1 on 1 battles to determine who is the City-Feet Greatest of all Time. Over the next three months, 32 of the hottest Russian beauties ever to grace our planet with their delectable bare soles will fight one another in a straight knockout tournament until the grand final on New Years’ Eve, when a supreme champion will be crowned, representing the completion of a 12-year mission to find the very best of the best! This is a general playoff thread which is for updates of the bracket, detailing winners and losers as the playoff progresses. You are also welcome to discuss the tournament, but for comments about specific battles, it may be good etiquette to go into the POLLS section of this board and comment under the appropriate thread. Without further ado, here is the playoff bracket: Any battles catch your eye? Well first Duffman, may I just say that I'm utterly knocked out by the fantastic graphics you've used here...I mean, this represents the high water mark of professionalism for City Feet, without a shadow of a doubt...what can I say, except that I'm blown away with what you've done...and Paul will HAVE to be so impressed and honored as well!! As for the prelim playoff, I chose Alisa without hesitation...(sorry 'bout that college girl Sofia)...Ekaterina got my vote for real this time......and the other votes were no surprise at, coming from me....the great CF legend Julia over Dina, Sultry Sveta kicked poor Natasha's ass, and of course Alexandra wiped out the hapless Julia....needless to say, that all my votes went through this time Man, you really led off with some heavyweights, didn't you? The upcoming groupings that caught my eye right away were Masha vs Margarita and Sveta vs Julia in the gold group....Masha and Sveta should clean house easily. (really, either one of these two girls, esp. Masha..losing?) In the green group, my cool princess Olga will defeat Kristina. And in blue...the cruelest matchup of all,...I have to give the boot to sweetie pie Galya, because of all opponents, she has to be so unfortunate to meet up with The Alyona!! also, from blue, those two cuties, Anna and Alexandra...and I'm afraid that I'll have to go with Anna here.. You deserve some kind of award for all of this my man,....and at the very least, some kind of recognition from Paul, to say the very least!!

Yeah, I'll second that; great looking graphics here! I see a lot of my personal favorites in the October 25 group. Luckily, none of them are going head-to-head yet (or maybe toe-to-toe is more appropriate here)!

Interesting. Alexandra and Julia cruised to easy victories, but Natasha got a huge late surge to come from behind and win. I also breathed a sigh of relief for my girl Daria who got a couple of late votes to break the tie. It seems like we got more late voters than we had in the earlier rounds, which is great. Makes things more suspenseful!

So, two of my girls won in the green section, and two lost, but the two losers were the ones I expected to have a better chance of winning. Go figure! This week's blue section is a tough one, since one of my all-time favorites is in each matchup. If all four of my girls were to get knocked out, I don't think I could take it! ;-)

Of the 32, only half now remain after some tough battles and jaw-dropping eliminations! By my count, I voted for 10 of the 16 winners, so that's not a bad percentage. Personally, the biggest shock last round was Lena losing to Alenka, and by several votes. I considered Lean to be in my top three all-time, and she didn't even make the top 16. Ah well, it was bound to happen that some of my favorites would go down. I was also surprised by the total beatdown of Dina by Julia. I mean, I get why Julia is popular, but I just thought it would be closer. Looking ahead, I'm worried that my girl Daria has to face Julia now. Will Julia crush another of my favorites? I hope not, but if Julia does win, is she headed for an epic showdown with Alexandra in the next round? If it happens, would Alexandra vs. Julia be the biggest matchup so far?

Well, for me, the most profound shock was, of course, my Masha losing...something I just can't wrap my brain around.........but if any model can be declared the "uncrowned champion",...it would be her. Maybe there should be a special "uncrowned champion" thread for those whose favorite got eliminated. I'm also shocked that Lena got the short end of the stick. As for an intriguing match up, I'm in agreement with Southerncrossfire44 that if Julia and Alexandra get matched, it'll be the biggest draw in the Tournament...it should attract more votes than any contest we've seen yet.

I'll be voting for Alexandra, of course, but given the way Julia has crushed her competition the last two rounds, and Alexandra's extremely close race last week, I think Julia might win that matchup. If Julia does beat Alexandra, she will have knocked out three of my top favorites in a row, which is just brutal for me, but shows how strong a competitor Julia is.

She's awesome...that yellow top/black mini skirt image is hard to beat....I'll be in a real quandry when any of my girls face her. I'm just hoping that with the success of this tournament and the eventual champion being crowned that we can prevail upon Paul to bring some of the big names back for an encore. According to Paul, Alyona may be more inclined to come back, but I don't know about The Alexandra. I'd love to see any of my elite come back one more time.

So, four of our final eight are set. I voted for three of those four, so I can't complain too much. Daria getting beat still stings, though. Margarita is impressive. She was far behind early on but she kept fighting her way back. I don't think she ever led until the end, but that's when it counts!

This is a very impressive top eight! Three of my favorites have made it this far, which is a great percentage. Better yet, I know that one of my girls (Alyona or Anna) is guaranteed to make the final four! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the big finish!

From over 100 beautiful models, we are now down to just four, and the grand final is but a week away from commencing. The voting for the semi finals has begun with the vote closing at 23.59 LONDON time on 12th December. There is also a 5th place playoff that will run alongside the semis and the final itself. You know what to do..... In the battle of the titans, Alexandra came out ahead. I really thought Julia would win that one, but she came up just short. I am also surprised at the wide margin of victory for both Anna and Margarita. I'm happy with the results, but I really thought those matches would be closer. In any case, we're down to the final four, and I voted for three of them, so I'm pretty pleased with the results. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a top two of Alexandra and Anna, but Margarita and Anna would also be okay.

So here we are - after 12 years of barefoot beauties, 8 months of intense duelling, a billion grains of Moscow dirt and 100 eliminations, we have finally reached the end... For Margarita and Anna to have seen off such stern competition is a glowing testament to their pure beauty and natural grace, not to mention their professional modelling credentials! Certainly the calibre of the models seen on this site is superlative, and in my opinion they are both winners. As this is the final and Christmas may disrupt things for us, you will all have TWO weeks to place your votes. At 23.59 BST on December 30 the vote will close, and our supreme champion will be crowned! SEMI FINAL RESULTS KRISTINA [41.18%] ANNA [58.82%] Kristina takes 4th Place ALEXANDRA [42.11%] MARGARITA [57.89%] Alexandra takes 3rd Place ROUTES TO THE FINAL Margarita entered the tournament on July 5th and finished joint top with Alexandra, a curvaceous beauty with asbestos soles capable of negotiating rubble. In her first playoff, she scored a priceless victory over Masha, a graceful ballerina with possibly the most beautiful face on the entire site. Her second playoff was a narrow battle with blonde princess Olga, which was won by just a single vote in her favour. In the quarter finals, Anna won by a surprisingly wide margin against Sveta, a naturally sexy “wifey” girl who won her own group with such ferocity that all other competitors were eliminated. Then came a back-and-forth battle with Alexandra in the semi final, but Margarita took control after initially falling behind. Her first playoff opponent was another businesswoman, Alexandra, but it was a barefoot stroll in the park for Anna, who won with over 75% of the vote. In the second playoff, it was a much closer battle, with Anna edging out Polina – arguably the greatest ambassador this site has ever had! In the quarter finals, Anna pulled off what may go down in history as the biggest shock of the tournament, destroying the sassy minx Alyona to reach the semis! Then there was no stopping Anna in her semi final with Kristina, having lead from the very off. AND FINALLY... This tournament has seen an array of shocks, surprises and classic battles, which will surely be debated for years to come. In a perfect world, I would have liked to see Anna face Alexandra in the final, but Margarita absolutely deserves to fill that spot, too. I've said it before, Duffman, but thank you for setting this whole competition up. I really like the recap Route to the Finals that you created here.

Duffman, this is and has been, one of the classiest productions that I've ever seen on the net...the "route to the final" segment deserves real recognition for sheer class and sophistication IMO. I'm not happy at all about the results regarding Alexandra's loss, but this has been a thriller all the way.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why these two particular models made it to the finals? Anna has been a favorite of mine since she first appeared, but I'm a bit surprised that so many other voters agreed and she has made it this far. I somehow overlooked Margarita before this competition, but she is wonderful, too, and I've definitely come to appreciate her. But anyway, my theory as to why these two have risen to the top is that although they are very attractive, they also seem "approachable." I don't think that either Anna or Margarita is as strikingly beautiful as some of the other models, but they have a more "real" quality. They both very much have a "girl next door" sort of quality. I don't know if I'm expressing this very well, but maybe someone else has some ideas?

I have wondered about these two finalists too Southerncrossfire...certainly, at least in my own opinion, they don't stand out as beauties, like Alexandra, Masha or the legendary Julia, just to name three,...but they're both really attractive girls and both have that "barefoot panache" necessary to captivate all those who voted for them. I really agree with you on the "approachability" thing....that has to be it. They are indeed "girls next door" types and having said that, I must say that I've really come to appreciate Anna...she's the type of barefooter, like brunette Sveta, who you can envision in a grocery store, barefoot and casually going about her shopping, and making you forget completely what's on your shopping list in the process

The final vote remains very tight, and the 5th place battle is close, too. I think you described Anna's appeal very well. She does look like she could just be out grocery shopping in her bare feet. I don't just want to see beautiful, glamorous girls who happen to be barefoot (though that's important). What I really enjoy is that sort of fantasy that you could actually meet these girls while out and about on the street. I think that's much of the appeal for me in sites like City Feet, Toes-in-Action or the Barefoot Urban Girls.

Paul's work has brought aretifism from the periphery, with negative stereotypes of braindead psychos hunting down women and stealing shoes as trophies starting to die out. People are now beginning to realise that an aretifist is A LOT more likely to be the professional, articulate gentleman (which is what I try to be when working) who knows how to treat a lady right! In my life, the open minded, approachable, barefoot girl with a 7/10 face is going to beat a snooty and pretentious girl with a 10/10 face and a propensity to live in bunion-birthing stilettos! For that reason, I can certainly see where you are coming from Southern. If this was a facial beauty contest then probably Masha, or Olga, would have destroyed everyone..... although they too are highly approachable and desirable of course! However, we're down to these two and wondering what qualities put them above the rest, and I've noticed one thing they have in common - REALLY prominent and strong heels in addition to pretty, but not "world beating" faces. On the occasions I have given a lucky young lady a foot massage, the heel has been my favourite bit, because it takes most of the impact throughout the day, so I know it comes as a huge relief to her. Because one hand is cupped around the ankle as I'm working the heel, it is also a prime position to start with kissing the sole! Margarita is currently leading the way, and her ankle/heel area is accompanied by a glut of sinew (which I love, personally!) indicating that she is what one might call an "occasional" barefooter, rather than a devoted one. Indeed, I think THAT may also be a factor. Our two finalists, Anna and Margarita are both what you might consider the "happy medium" between the likes of Olga - extremely pretty, but obviously not into it - and Gypsy Cecilia, who has gone barefoot non-stop for 5 years, rendering her feet quite rough and "primal", so she becomes something of a scientific curio and celebrity, rather than a regular girl next door. I think I speak for the majority when I say that the unpredictability is a massive turn on, because I can imagine Margarita treating a shod trip to the supermarket exactly the same as a barefoot one.

Congratulations to Margarita, a worthy and deserving champion! She defeated an incredible field to come out on top, and even though I didn't vote for her in the final, I do think she's fantastic. Also, congratulations to my girl Anna, for coming in second place in this great competition. She came up just short, but she made a good showing for herself. One last shout out to my other favorite girls, Alexandra (third place) and Alyona (top 8), and Polina, Daria, Dina and last but not least, Lena (all winning their first round groups)! Finally, thanks to Duffman for setting this whole thing up and running it so well over all these months. It's been a lot of fun to participate each week!

Duffman Thanks a lot for making this contest a reality, you added a new zest and vigor to the forum and made this competition really enjoyable. In the end we all win. I wonder what surprises will Pavel, Hal and The Feetosopher bring for 2016. Congrats to the winner.. I have never been a subscriber to CF, so I haven't voted.. but I remember her face from the days when I still had enough time on my hands to check free pics at CF. All my sincere admiration to Duffman for the huge effort he put into this contest.. I hope that Pavel will give him the recognition he deserves. If I had a chap trumpeting my own sites in this way, I would at least thank him..

Like it or not, BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS has always been way less successful than BAREFOOT NUDITY (most dudes out there like tits, pussy & ass, not just feet.. ). The barefooting niche is tiny and has long-standing vendors (City Feet, Toes-In-Action, Barefoot Forever), with whom I cannot compete in quantity terms.. and (unfortunately for me) quantity makes a difference. So I will try to go the extra mile in 2016.. it's a bet, and I am ready to lose money.. if I blow it, I will revert back to my zero-cost approach. I take the occasion to wish the best for 2016 to all CF Forum members!

I really appreciate the positive comments - I'd be interested to know, now that it's all over, who did you HONESTLY think was going to win when the tournament began back in April? At first I was convinced that Masha (model #121) would win, beating Alyona in the final, but once Alexandra (#161) destroyed her group I was then rock-solid certain that she'd win the whole thing. Honestly? It never once occured (before the semis) to me that Margarita would be the champion, especially since she's been out of the game for 5 years. So kudos to her - I likes an underdog!

You really deserve the applause for this Duffman. When I was casting about for opinions in those "who's yer favorite?" type of threads, it was kind of a "horse and buggy" type of approach,....whereas in your hands, the whole concept became space-age modern and more sophisticated & professionally done than any other web site that I can imagine. Besides this being such great fun in the sense of competition, and honoring these great models, it also should serve, I believe, as a surrogate vehicle for prompting Paul to bring back some of these beauties,...either the grand winner, or ANY of the girls who figured in the last few weeks of the competition....(I hope ) Honestly, back in the beginning, I was convinced that it would have been my girls.. either Masha, Alexandra or Alyona,...precisely the girls you mentioned....truth be known, I thought Alexandra would be a lock for the title, especially after accomplishing the impossible....defeating the legendary Julia (without ever giving up the lead). However, ...my disappointment and disbelief aside, I congratulate the winner Margarita..as well as everyone who voted for her.

I suppose we could try polling people on their favorite Barefoot Urban Girls or Toes-in-Action models. Maybe not the kind of tournament that Duffman847 set up, but just a poll of some top models from each that people could vote on and explain their votes. I know I have some ideas for favorites from both those sites already.

I would not make a pre-selection myself, yet.. as it would be influenced by my own personal tastes (I DO have some favorite models). If you chaps can come up with a selection of, say, 16 BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS models, we can build the playoff grid. In alternative, I can just put in the 16 most viewed models of BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS, on the grounds of the site stats (you would find some surprises, yet..). Just waiting for inputs from you, chaps!
