City-feet members' message board > Barefoot memories&impressions > my first public barefoot walk

I have been in Munich for the last few days and have been itching to try some barefoot walking, but it has been so cold. I tried a few steps in the Englischer Garten but I got scared cos there were so many people around. Well tonight after a few beers in decided to walk down a side street and kick off my shoes, man it felt so good. I got so confident I actually took the long way back to my hotel and even walked through the main train station. What a feeling. Yes people looked at me a bit, but so what, I will never see them again. I even got the lift back in the hotel and of course 2 people got in, I could feel them looking at my feet but they didn't say anything

Barefoot walking is so exhilarating, you can definitely feel the floor, and my soles are a lovely shade of black now!

I will be doing more of this as soon as I can
