| Great flkr set ! Given that all of female singers do it and there are tons of pictures I'm surprised that this is the first time I've seen this. There have been alot of barefoot girl musicians from Sandy Denny on. It seems to be a trope , look up this word, l found an academic cultural studies site that had good material for it's references , will post when I find it. Other singers that come to mind are Lori Carson and Lily Allen. |

| Last night, I saw a recent concert film of Madonma--and she's barefoot onstage, for a few minutes! It's a segment where she's wearing black leather. She has on boots, but they're taken off for a while! Anyone got photos? |
