They are comunity of peple that want to live in a "old fashion" life style. They work mainly in agriculture,as in the past,at the beginning of the century. And,as in those days,walk and work barefeet,especially women and children. This mean that they grew up with very tough callused feet... Maybe some one have other photos or know more about this group... |

| Sorry for the delay,, took me some time to find these. Notice the photographer liked the lady in blue, and the way her feet look, I see why. This is TRUE barefoot lifestyle. Also notice it's mainly all females that our barefoot. You can see they no problem on any surface. I would love to visit there just to see how these young women do all the chores and everything 24/7 barefoot.     |

| Great picture b'ftlvr2008, thanks ! This is REAL barefoot lifestyle,I have noticed that the girls of this picture were walking on a gravel road,and don't seem to have any problem ! I would love to to see how these young women do all the chores and everything TOO. You know were this peaple are from ? My picture are about amish comunity in the U.S.A.,so are very far from where I live (Italy),but if you know some other comunity in europe,near Italy,I think will go to see with my eyes... Another question,from which site did you get the pictures ? |

| I found these pictures awhile back, I think I have a few more of the set and if I can find them, I'll add them. The location if memory serves me was Pennsylvannia Dutch Amish or maybe Minonites. Also, my favorite, where all the ladies are looking into the balloon basket. My favorite lady in blue. You can see her soles. Calloused and dirty. I can just imagine her barefooting 24/7. She is so casual and natural about it. That and some are barefoot while others have heavy boots on. What a contrast. |

A beautiful set of pics, it should be wonderful to live in a society where girls don't wear shoes at all. The lady in blue is beautiful, and, definitely, she needs no shoes at all. Thanks for sharing! |
