Seriously, the weather here in North Germany has turned so incredibly hot...it`s unnatural for early April...but I´m not complaining  It is just great to be outdoors again after the long winter and see loads of beautiful women walking around in the city and my part of town...many of them in open-toed sandals, in flip flops or just walking barefoot on the street...I simply love it! Just thought I´d share these pics that I snapped a while back (not this year)...they fit perfectly to what it`s like here in my town at the moment. | Just in case this wasn`t obvious...the above pics were all random women/strangers walking barefoot on the street in my town...not models. In the last days I´ve seen so many new barefoot girls, it`s seriously insane. I´ve never ever seen this many in early April....it`s hard to keep a cool head -Hal- |

| Thanks for the pics Hal, much appreciated! It's wonderful to know that in Germany so many girls like to walk barefoot in the street. It's a shame that in Lima, where weather is mild all year long, girls are ashamed to walk barefoot. I think it's because of an association with poverty. |

Yes, that sounds logic. Over here were the poverty isn`t as large as in parts of South America it is usually free spirited or open-minded girls who do it. -Hal- |

Exactly, that's it. A different approach to life. I guess that besides being a free-spirited thing, barefooter for girls is also a back to nature approach. Here in rural areas we live very close to nature... most of the time people don't have the basic facilities such as electricity, potable water, sewage, etc. so for a girl it's more fashionable living in a modern city and not being barefoot :-( |

No, they`re not.  The above pics are small because they were taken with a different camera...my normal pics are usually 1280x960 or 1600x1200. -Hal- |

Hal, that's a beautiful collection. I would like to have guts to be able to talk those girls into being a model for your amazing pictures. What is the first thing you tell them when you see them go bare? Please, share your experience. I sometimes meet a beautiful girl wandering barefoot through a city and I can only take couple of not-very-good-quality candids. I simply don't know what to say, I think she sould slap me at my face and call the poilce if I asked her for a photo... Did it sometimes happen to you?  Or how the girls react? I will definitely post some pictures if I manage to get a good quality photo. |

Sorry, I forgot to answer your question. Thanks for your interest. I´ve never had a problem taking photos of girls walking barefoot in public...on the contrary, they are usually proud to present their feet to the camera (and some of them find it amusing). I usually approach them really friendly and just say something like: "Cool that you`re walking barefoot! Do you do that regularly?". Then I ask them if I may take a photo of their soles and they usually reply: "Oh no, my soles are really dirty!" and I respond with "Yeah, that`s the point...I like em dirty!" (well, something like that!). It may have something to do with the city I live in...people here are pretty friendly and open-minded here....and real barefoot girls are usually open-minded anyway. I also try to avoid talking to girls who are either walking with their boyfriend or walking with many of their friends (except if her friends are also all barefooted)....although I have done both before and even that worked out. Ok, hope that helped a bit. Maybe we will see some of your girls here in the forum in future. -Hal- |
