For as long as I can remember I have found the sight of a barefoot female extremely beautiful and mesmerising, especially that of one who is barefoot outdoors, or in a place where you'd expect people to be wearing shoes. When I see a girl walking barefoot my mind becomes focused exclusively on her. Like the powerful glow of the sun, drowning out the other stars, the inner an outer beauty associated with a barefoot girl makes her stand out, and outshine all those around her. There are so many strong and sensuous connotations associated with this behaviour, and the purpose of this site is really to explore and analyse these connotations, promote their beauty, and to be as unique as those girls who walk barefoot. Also, this is not intended to act merely as a foot fetish site, but rather as a site exploring the beauty and artistry of female barefooters as a whole, and how their bare feet compliments and enhances their beauty, rather than simply focus on feet. However, view it as you wish... After all, interpretation, and people seeing beauty in different things, are key themes I'm attempting to explore! Also, this site is exclusively about barefoot females, simply due to the fact i feel females have more attractive bodies and feet than males, and are generally more awash with inner beauty and emotion, heightening their physical and sensual connotations. Whether she has no shoes at all, or has them in her hand, it marks her out from the boring majority, like the brightest star in the sky, making the statement "I am myself, and I don't care what people think." It carries with it many happy and carefree connotations, showing a free spirited girl, comfortable with who she is, and who is being who she wants to be, not what society wants her to be. Walking barefoot on man-made surfaces often carries similar connotations, showing a sensuous, free spirited, and fun loving girl, and although some may not be as strong, such as the spiritual and earthly connotations, others are heightened in their place. For example, a girl walking barefoot through a town or city is extremely sensuous and beautiful, as the amount of different surfaces for her to explore, and the potential for dirty soles, all enhance her connotations of adventure and excitement. For me, this adds greatly to the beauty, power, and mystique of a barefoot girl. I particularly like the free, natural, hippy look, with long and natural hair, little or no make-up, natural fabrics, calm and serene colours, natural symbolism, unpolished toes, long and loose skirts or dresses, or baggy, comfy, and worn jeans. I feel this look suits the freedom and naturalness of bare feet perfectly, and builds on the many hippy connotations to portray a carefree, laid back girl, going barefoot in search of liberty, comfort, and a sensuous connection with the earth. As well as pointing to inner freedom and perfection, the casual and laid back appearance of this look can also make a girl seem effortlessly beautiful on the outside. It makes a girl seem strong, in rejecting shoes for freedom, but also vulnerable at the same time, almost discreetly drawing attention to her beauty, and making her appear naive and unaware of it. In slight contrast, a more bold and created look, such as outrageous or brightly coloured hair, or loud, daring, or minimal clothing, appears to deliberately draw attention to a barefoot girls' beauty and unique style. Short skirts / dresses draw much attention to a girls bare feet, fully exposing them and their beauty in context with the rest of her body, as do short or tight jeans / trousers, or footless tights, highlighting their nakedness by covering her legs. Foot jewellery, such as ankle bracelets or toe rings, also achieves this, making her bare feet more eye catching, and highlighting how deliberate and intentional they are, as she chooses to put these on, but not shoes. By explicitly highlighting their style, it displays a girl who is strong, aware, and confident, both comfortable with and proud of her individuality, and suggests her bare feet may also be a symbolic fashion statement. This may be a statement of rebellion, individuality, or freedom, or maybe she realises how beautiful her bare feet are and is keen to draw attention to them - whichever it is, it adds to her beauty and intrigue. I also like the elegant, smart look, as its a look you would not normally associate with bare feet, portraying a unique, passionate, and impulsive girl, as well as creating a lot of intrigue and mystery about her, and about why she is barefoot. I think this look is best in dark colours or black, drawing on the elegance and mystery of these colours to further enhance these connotations. However, i also think white is a colour which suits a barefoot girl, highlighting the purity, innocence, and naturalness of their bare feet. The sign of shoes in a girls hand can also act as a strong and rebellious or beautiful and gentle fashion statement, giving clues as to the reasons why she is barefoot. For example, carrying high heels suggest a rebellious girl, rejecting shoes for freedom and comfort, whereas carrying already comfy and free shoes suggest it may be more of a sensuous reason, because she likes the feel of it, or the earthly connection. However i think the absence of shoes carries with it stronger connotations, adding to the poetry and intrigue of a barefoot girl, and making the act seem more deliberate. | Thanks for the link. Some nice pics and lots of houghts For me barefoot girls look nice!! Although ivealways found it interesting that some girls go barefoot more than others At school there were quite a few girls who preferred to do gym barefoot but a couple who also liked outdoor games, tennis, track etc, not just on comfy grass but on a hard yard with the odd bit of grit around Slowly but suerly they appeared to convince a small gang of about 5 to do it regularly, but I could see the other three werent so keen, they just seemed to do it for peer group pressure I also love the idea of girls going barefoot for their men. Most girls like to go barefoot on grass in summer but the pics paul does in snow and rain I find fascinating Anyway, just thought Id say thanks for the link as no-one else has. |
